She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Linda O’Neill; brother, Matthew O’Neill; grandparents, Dolores and the late Albert Myers and the late Gertrude and Joseph O’Neill; godparents, Arlene and Joseph Lopez; her aunts and uncles, Kathleen and the late Frank Fisher, Judy and Richard Vanderoef, Sharon O’Neill and Joy Montroni; and her cousins, Steven, Anna, Danny, Kevin, Timmy, Bethany, Michelle, Brian, Lorelle, Kelly, Chris, Kristen, Jason, Jill, Ricky, and Billy.

Born with spina bifida and trached from birth, she could never talk but she signed volumes. “To know Cindy was to love Cindy,” her family said.

She brought out the best in anyone she met and had a true enthusiasm for everything in her life. She loved so many things: her family and friends; her computer; her room; texting; book signings; Disney world, especially Chip and Dale; the Poconos; jigsaw puzzles; Kenny Rogers; Ellen DeGeneres, Jane Lynch, and Barney and Bethenny Frankel.

Cindy graduated from Bleshman School in Paramus and was a member of the Wallington High School Art club, which was one of her biggest honors.

Her family is thankful for all the people at Hackensack University Medical Center and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for all the love and support they gave Cindy through the years and to her favorite doctors, Dr. Maria Ramos and Dr. Emmanuel Santomauro and her nurse Olive Grant.

"Her life was truly a miracle and who ever reads this today please go forward and take a small part of her essence with you…be kind, be happy, enjoy a good laugh, always look forward, love one another, and get the best out of every moment," her family said.

Visitation is Wednesday, from 5-9 p.m. at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. Mass is on Thursday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 115 Ft. Lee Rd., Bogota. Private cremation to follow.
